Lead by RT Weber, Khumo Masayona, Walter Ksabung and Frank Dekker, BEATS is targeting 1.8GW of generation and supporting transmission and energy storage infrastructure totalling some $3Bn in investment opportunities.
Mission
Our proposals include the expansion of the Botswana power grid to cover all major urbanizations and the construction of a large generation basis to complement the current generation, energy storage and enough power to enable the necessary growth of the Botswanan economy without further carbon emissions and to enable Botswana to become a net exporter of clean renewable energy to its neighbors.
